South East Coast trip.
This trip takes you around the whole South east coast of Zanzibar Island, starting with a pick up from your hotel at 09:00am from Stone town hotel and 08:00am from north coast, you will then be driven to the South, starting with nature walk at Jozani forest, after the forest visit we then drive you further south at Kizimkazi,this is a fishing village, here you will have a short visit of the village and an old mosque built the year 1107 by settlers from Shiraz,this is one of the oldest Islamic building on the coast of East Africa.
You will have an opportunity to see big baobab trees where the guide will explain the use of the trees in traditional healing, then drive to Jambiani Village here you will meet a traditional herbalist, here you will be shown various Zanzibar herbs and their uses, after a brief conversation with the herbalist a short walk in Jambiani Village, you will be invited for traditional lunch in a local restaurant.
Alternatively you can proceed further to Michamvi Village, for lunch at an unbelievable Rock restaurant in the sea which is close to the beach, (lunch not included here) after lunch drive back to your hotel.
